Her family took to social media to share the sad news but did explain why. Her brother, Edward Ochieng, has now come out to share what killed her sister.

“Now the evidence we have from the CID and according to the last witness, the last thing that happened was laety was found unconscious with a rope tied around her throat, and she was hang on the bedroom wall.”

Edward added,

“The CID had a photo, I don’t know if I can access it. it is still private. and they say there is no way her weight could be supported by the length of the rope, the house [the distance between the roof and the floor] and her height.

“It doesn’t add up. We have the police and we are getting investigators because even us as the family we have so many whys, we don’t know what happened, it was an unusual death.”

He then explained the reason why the artist might have committed the act.

“My mum tells me that there is a show Laety did and the money was held. And the person who was supposed to pay them the money never paid them, we are waiting for further details on the said show.
