Members of the Deliverance Church in Donholm, Nairobi Kenya, were thrown into mourning following the sudden demise of their senior pastor, Matthew Wambua.

As was earlier reported by TUKO.co.ke, Pastor Wambua succumbed to COVID-19 on Sunday, March 21, night.

Wambua, who was aged 55 died moments after being admitted to a hospital in Nairobi.

The late pastor left his family, friends and congregation at crossroads with many remembering him as a great man.

Celebrities could not be left behind either, as public figures such as gospel singer Evelyn Wanjiru took to their pages to eulogise the pastor.

Evelyn remembered how Rev Wambua supported their vision of Praise Atmosphere that streamed live online on the eve of the new year.

Others who went online to mourn the Rev include Pastor T Mwangi, Founder and Visionary of Truth Mentorship, who sent his condolences to the entire family of D.C Donholm.
