– Gospel singer Kaberere was electrocuted as he washed his car three years ago
– Hours after his burial his wife, Njesh Kahua, delivered a baby girl
– Three years down the line, the little angel is all grown and according to her mother, loves singing like her late father
On Sunday, April 7, 2014, Antony Peter Kaberere, one of the fast-rising gospel singers in Kenya, started his day as usual by attending church and later to his car wash business near Lower Kabete, Nairobi.

It was at his car wash that the worst happened. Kaberere was electrocuted while washing his car after dropping his young family home.
The news of Kaberere’s untimely demise rented the air with agony. Even those who had worshipped with him early in the day wouldn’t believe Kaberere was no more.

His wife, Njesh Kahua, popularly known as Njesh wa Kabz, had brought him a son and was expectant for their second child.
Kaberere was interred a week later and hours after his burial, his wife delivered a baby girl. She named her Halia, which means ‘in remembrance of’.

Now Njesh has shared a photo of Halia exactly three years after the demise of her father whom she never saw.
