Deputy President William Ruto has said his political opponents have made it a habit to blame it for all their woos.
Ruto, on Tuesday, June 7, said the opposition leaders have turned him into a punching bag.
He said the accusations that he incited Moses Wetangula’s wife were absurd but they never surprised him.

According to him, the opposition will always find something negative to link to him.
Ruto reiterated that he had nothing to do with the murder of businessman Jacob Juma despite former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo and other politicians pointing accusing fingers at him.
He said he was ready to record a statement with the police whenever called upon.
The DP also faulted the opposition for claiming that he was the one against talks on electoral reforms.

Jubilee has one command and even President Uhuru Kenyatta’s is that there are constitutional procedures to be followed, he said.
Back to Moses Wetangula’s case. The senator and his wife – Anne Waceke – both accused each other of assault on February 21.
Police records showed that Ann was the first to report the senator to the police. She filed her complaint at Lang’ata Police Station. She claimed to have sustained injuries on both hands, chest and legs. She said she was treated at Karen Hospital and discharged.

The Bungoma senator also went to the police station on the same day and reported to have been beaten by the wife.
Moses Wetangula is reported to have accused his wife of infidelity. He said that is when she got furious and attacked him.
The FORD Kenya leader is said to have sustained injuries on his head, left hand, left leg and chest. He was treated at Karen Hospital and issued with a P3 form.
Police surgeon confirmed that Moses Wetangula sustained multiple soft tissue injuries. The surgeon said he had a swelling on the left side of his scalp and injuries on the chest, wrist, elbow and ankle which could have been caused by a blunt object.
The Lang’ata police officers transferred the issue to Karen Police Station as that is where the alleged incident took place. The case is yet to commence.
